TideWise expands to Europe
TideWise, Brasil based USV developer, has recently announced plans to expand business to Europe. The plan consists of opening the company in Belgium and proposal of Tupan USV for European customers. Schedule and details are expected to be announced additionally.
TideWise is known for 5m USV Tupan, which provides 200kg capacity for modular payload such as hydrographic equipment, aerial drone, inspection class ROV and so on. Tupan is controlled with WiseControl – TideWise’s proprietary control system for unmanned surface vehicles.
Probably the expansion will also cover the bigger USV design, which has got Lloyd’s Register (LR) Approval in Principle (AiP) earlier this year. AiP covers 24-metre uncrewed surface vessel (USV), designed for offshore subsea inspection operations at depths of up to 2,500 meters with use of work-class ROV.
