? USV Drix is getting ready for the next generation over the operations with Starlink

? USV Drix developed by iXblue (now exail) has been spotted during test with Starlink satellite communication service antenna. As reported tests are aimed at enhancing its over the horizon capabilities. The Drix was already interfaced with Iridium CERTUS but Starlink is a real step change in terms of available bandwidth and is likely to revolutionize maritime remote operation. The initial testing is very promising with data rate in the range of multiple Mbps (Megabits per second) and steady communication.
Starlink is satellite communication service operated by SpaceX. It provides connectivity with largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit. Starlink Maritime has high-speed, low-latency internet with up to 350 Mbps download while at sea.
