📦 DEMCON Unmanned’s USV DUS V2500 spotted on the way to UAE

🎯 Dutch maritime contractor Van Oord relocates its newest zero emission USV VO:X Lorentz to Dubai, UAE. The USV will be used for support of various Van Oord’s operations in the region during following 6-12 months. USV VO:X Lorents is based on proven DUS V2500 series USVs developed by DEMCON Unmanned.
USV VO:X Lorents as others DUS V2500 series USVs is equipped with the latest Demcon’s Autonomous Navigation system functionalities. Includes the Situational Awareness & Collision Avoidance systems with various warnings, Autonomous Emergency Breaking (AEB) and Evasive Path Planning. Allowing surveyors to operate safer with more automated measurement workflows. Also new maintenance features make these platform easier to repair and service in the field.
