SEADRONIX receives Korean Register (KR) for AI Sensor Module
Seadronix, South Korea based developer of smart shipping solutions, has achieved a major milestone by obtaining the world’s first type approval from the Korean Register (KR) for AI sensor module, a core component of our NAVISS AI navigation support system.
NAVISS system provides ship’s around-view and obstacles monitoring by fusing the sensors data to reduce the risk of collision. As reported NAVISS has been already deployed on commercial vessels, tugboats, fisheries monitoring ships, icebreakers and more. The system is based on number of patens owned by Seadronix in the area of situational awareness, sensor fusion and monitoring.
? “With this approval, we have once again proven our technological prowess and know-how that leads the global maritime industry,” said Kyongsoo Noh, COO of Seadronix. “We have recently signed contracts with global customers in Singapore, the Netherlands, and elsewhere, and we will do our best to supply AI solutions that will drive the commercialization of autonomous ship navigation while gaining momentum in our business.”
