Zeabuz partners with MT for situation awareness at wind farms
Marine Technologies LLC (MT) and Zeabuz AS (Zeabuz) are pleased to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to collaborate on the delivery of an advanced situational awareness suite for the Maersk Offshore Wind designed Articulated Tugs and Barges (ATBs), owned and operated by Edison Chouest Offshore and currently being constructed by Bollinger Shipyards.
This strategic partnership outlines the intent of both companies to work together on the development and integration of a state–of–the–art situational awareness solution tailored specifically for ocean going offshore wind farm feeder ATBs. The LOI marks a significant step toward a formal agreement that will establish the foundation for this important collaboration.
The situational awareness suite is designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of the ATBs so the operators can keep a proper lookout during the transit from port to the Wind Installation Vessel (WIV) with the latest in marine technology to meet the demanding requirements of offshore wind farm operations. By combining MT’s expertise in marine control systems with Zeabuz’s cutting–edge situational awareness technologies, the partnership aims to deliver a comprehensive solution that will set new standards in the industry.
