GEOxyz presented its latest USV developments

GEOxyz, Belgium based maritime service provide and USV developer, held at its newly renovated HUB in Oostende an exclusive event, where the latest developments in our Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) portfolio were presented. The event provided a unique opportunity for GEOxyz clients to see firsthand the technical capabilities of our USVs and the specialised Launch and Recovery System (LARS) that enables their deployment.
The event included presentations from:
🔹 CEO, Patrick Reyntjens, who shared GEOxyz’s ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability within the industry;
🔹 Lieselot Noppe, Program Manager of GEOxyz’s Innovation Department, who offered insights into the department’s current projects and forward-looking research.;
🔹 Laurens Goossens, Project Manager USV, took the stage to walk our clients through the wide range of USVs in our portfolio.
A key part of the event was the live demonstrations. Clients were able to see GEOxyz USVs in action on the water, where the specialised Launch and Recovery System (LARS) were demonstrated, designed for the safe and effective deployment of the marine drones. Attendees also had the chance to experience a demo of Remote Control Center, where USVs are monitored and controlled remotely from onshore, demonstrating the full scope of their operational capabilities.
The dotOcean AutomateYourBoat (AYB) unit was installed on three GEOdrone survey vessels demonstrating autonomous navigation in the water. All three USVs were controlled at the same time from the same dotOcean AYB User Interface.
